Biographie
Bluemiss is a story of a young lady born on a lovely Monday afternoon at about 3 pm. Well... It is also the story of the track 20 on a "techno Factory", a record that Emilie could not listen to on her CD player but which was detected by the PC as the "Mix Master Lite" installation program. And so it began.
Deeply corrupted by the electro-acoustic sounds of the inspired Moby, Ellen Allien, Björk and so many others, she begins to twist up samples in 1999. The early trials rapidly turn into real tracks revealing a smooth atmosphere and electro jazzy sounds such as "Softly" in 2001 and "Hotnight" in 2002.
Merely curious, our self-taught electronic composer explores electro-pop and world music then, in 2005 she tries trip hop and electro ambient.
One year later, Emilie discovers how fun it is to work with other musicians and in 2006 she makes Abyss, Birds & Children and Midnight with Matieu R, the singer of the bands Violet Insanity and Pretty Jack. While composing "Deux mamans", Bluemiss decides to borrow Mat (Spoonlight), a guitar line and later on she remixes (the electrodark way) the track "Turn the page 05" for her friends of the Metal band Skin my senses.
Kohort's crew member since summer 07, she keeps on composing while focusing on the release of "Cosmoflorescence" her first electro-ambient album. In addition, we can't wait for the result of her first steps in electronic mix and live. To be continued...
